➳ November Favourites.

I can't believe it is the end of November already! Christmas is way too close! (and I am not prepared at all).

Here are some of the things I have loved throughout November, I really enjoyed taking these photos! I am realising that taking photos is quite a passion of mine.

Essence Cover Stick.

I have already expressed my love for Essence products in previous posts, and this one is no different. I have loved this product so much that I have almost run out! (Note to self, add to shopping list) I have been trying to wear a little less makeup on a daily basis in an attempt to be a little kinder to my skin so instead of using a foundation or my BB cream I just use this and blend it out.

Honey Macadamia Necklace.

This beautiful necklace was a birthday present from Emily, I am in love with this! Its perfect for everyday wear (and it also means I can't forget my initials).

Pukka Supreme Matcha Green Tea.

My addiction to green tea is back, and stronger than ever. It had been way too long since I had, had just simple green tea, and I was having serious cravings so I picked this one up from Tony & Marks and I feel like I haven't gone a day without having at least one cup.

LUSH Snowman Shower Jelly.

Anything shaped like a cute snowman must be good, right? Well this definitely is, seriously go head into LUSH and smell it for yourself!

EcoTools Makeup Brushes.

My EcoTools collection is growing! I love that their brushes come with adorable little pouches for them, perfect for travel. These are literally the softest makeup brushed I have come across in my life.

The body Shop Coconut Body Butter.

This body butter makes me smell like a delicious coconut cookie, and who doesn't want to smell like that! I also got this for my birthday and it travels in my handbag/backpack with me everywhere.

Ikea Fake Plant and Pot.

Unfortunately because my bedroom does not get quite enough sunlight to keep most plants alive I have turned to fake plants so at least I feel like there is some greenery in my room (Plus Ikea has great prices!).

Typo Sketch Notebook.

My friend Marnie got me this for my birthday (Thanks), as I often expressed how much I wanted a notebook without lines in it, so I could write and draw! And this one is perfect, I love how simple the cover is, its definitely my style.

And that is everything I have been loving for the month of November, Hope you enjoyed this post!

➳ Lush Haul.

Guess who went a little crazy in lush the other day? (hint, its me).

Here is everything I got!

Snowman, Shower Jelly.

Kind of obsessed with the novelty of shower jellies (even if they are somewhat hard to use), I am not keen on the usual shower jelly scents they stock so when a limited edition one comes out, i'm all over it. This one smells so fresh and perfect for Spring (and it's shaped like a cute snowman).

Lush Description:
"Wibble and wobble this snowman-shaped shower jelly all over your body. He's made with a refreshing and sweet scent, and we've added buchu, bergamot and Sicilian lemon oils for an extra mood boost. Seaweed and glycerine help this glide over your skin, leaving it soft and clean."

Tisty Tosty.

I have mentioned this bath bomb in my last favourites, and it is still my all time favourite bath bomb from Lush.

Lush Description:
"Weaves a magic love spell with a scent of precious rose and orris root. The fragrant rose is surrounded with mystery and legend: it is said to have come from the Great Garden of ancient Persia; and Cleopatra is rumoured to have seduced Anthony with it. Rose perfume is said to ease tension and stress and to give people happy, positive feelings. You'll smell the real rose absolute in Tisty Tosty as soon as it hits the water. Give one away to someone you love and use one on yourself. Either way, the Tisty Tosty works its magic spell."

Jason and the Argan Oil Shampoo Bar

After finding out pretty much every Shampoo I have ever used was not cruelty free, a shampoo bar from Lush topped my shopping list. I picked out the one I liked the scent of the most and was then told I had also picked the perfect one for my hair (score!).

Lush Description:
"On a quest for stronger, shinier, softer hair? Try this argan oil-packed, Rose Jam-scented bar. Ideal for those with lighter hair tones.

No Drought, Dry Shampoo.

Finally something for those lazy days/nights where I really don't feel like washing my hair, now my hair can still look, smell and feel fresh without really being all that.

Lush Description:
"For freshness and a little spruce up between proper washes, puff some of this powder directly into the hair, or onto your hands, and work through.  Then a quick brush out, ensuring you get any loose excess powder away – and you will be left fresh, fragrant and non-greasy.   Contains a lovely light fragrance of lemon, grapefruit and lime that leaves you smelling great and feeling uplifted and awake.  The fine powders in this will absorb grease from you hair, whilst still being easy to brush out without leaving a white dusty look to your hair."

Rose Jam, Shower Gel.

I am currently suffering from an addiction to everything rose scented, this shower gel smells like fancy Turkish delight (I have to seriously refrain from eating it). And considering it is only limited edition I may have to go back and buy the largest bottle they have!

Lush Description:
"Let your skin be kissed by a rose with this sweetly floral shower gel. Wrap yourself in a comforting embrace with nourishing Moroccan argan oil, organic rose absolute and rose oil together with a Fair Trade vanilla pod infusion. This is an indulgent wash that lifts the spirits."

This bath bomb it quite sweetly scented, which I am not usually in to but I like this one and I am excited to see what colours it turns my bath!

Lush Description:
"Here comes a bath bomb of astronomical proportions. We were inspired by The Imagined Village's intriguing interpretation of Space Girl from their second album, Empire & Love. It's shaped like Saturn with added space dust for our alien friends, and the refreshing scent of blackcurrant sweeties will make you hungry for your own space adventures. Space Girl is stellar, just remember your blaster and your freezer gun."

Lustre, Body Powder.

Oh my god! I swear this stuff is literally powdered gold! I have already used this to highlight my face and I am in love, it smells incredible! Seriously you need to go straight to your nearest Lush store and try this product!

Lush Description:
"Fragranced with the sensual jasmine scent of Lust – by the Gorilla Perfumers at LUSH - this dusting powder has a very fine gold shimmer in it to give the skin a light glow."

That is everything I got from Lush (this time), Hope you enjoyed this post!

➳ Wandering the city, Spending too much Money & Eating Vegan Burgers.

Just another day spent with Emily in the City.

After our usual look around all our favourite shops and spending maybe a little too much money... (Lush haul coming soon!) we went on the hunt for lunch.

We ended up at Grill'd "Healthy Burgers" (I seriously recommend going there, the vegan options are delicious).

I got the veggie burger with probably the best gluten free bun I have ever had.

I asked for no mayo and cheese (cause vegan duh) and no beetroot. The burger was insanely good, it had lettuce, tomato, chutney, onion (that I mostly picked out), the veggie patty and avocado! With a side of snack size chips (That ended up being bigger then anticipated) that I failed to finish.

I may have "Accidentally" spent a little too much money (sorry bank account) on one item at American Apparel (totally worth it).

Outfit of the day was, Roll-neck top from Temt, Skirt is second hand Billabong, Rubi Boots and stockings from somewhere like Kmart probably. As well as the beautiful necklace Callan got me for my birthday (Love you).

This is me not giving a crap I spent way too much money. (you will see what I got in future Outfit of the day posts).

Hope you are all having/had a lovely day!

➳ What to do when you're feeling Uninspired.

Ever have those days where you have a million things to do but you feel like doing nothing but lying on the floor and staring at the ceiling, contemplating life? Me too.

Here are some of the things that I personally do to combat that uninspired, unmotivated feeling.

Number one.
Go outside!

Go for a walk, sit in the sun (with sunscreen of course), do some yoga, just get some fresh air. Being inside all day often leaves me feeling lethargic, closed in and with a not so lovely headache, when this happens I know its time to take a little break and get out into nature.

Number two.
Eat some food!

No I don't mean heading straight for McDonald's to pick up a big mac with a side of fries, because is that really going to make you feel good? How about you whip up some pancakes, a smoothie or a bowl of porridge or even better some banana ice cream! (if the weather is warm enough for it) Top it with your favourite things, whether that be passion-fruit or peanut butter and Oreo's, just do it. Eat it slow and enjoy every mouthful.

Number three.
Get Organised!

Cluttered desk = Cluttered mind. For me this is so true, how could I possibly feel prepared to work on anything if my desk is a complete mess! If you can no longer see what colour your desk is, it is definitely time to organise and wipe down. You will honestly feel so much more motivated with a tidy work space. (Time to take my own advice I think).

Number four.
Exercise!
I know what your thinking, doing a workout is probably the last thing you feel like doing. However exercise doesn't just mean going to the gym or doing sit ups and going for a run. You can go fr a bike ride, a swim (My personal favourite option), have a private dance party (yeah I do this one too) , walk on the beach, just do something that is fun but still involves moving your body!

Number five.
De-clutter!
Whether its throwing out that pair of shoes you haven't worn for three years or dropping a load of old clothes at the op-shop. Getting rid of things you don't need is detoxifying in a way, If you cant remember the last time you used or wore the item or it no longer brings you joy its probably time for it to go.

Number six.
Have a shower or bath!
Relax, wash your face, exfoliate your body, play music, light a candle and just completely unwind. (Lush bath bombs are also recommended).

Number seven.
Read or Write!
Whether you prefer to get lost in a book or take the time to record and gather  your thoughts. Learn about something, or make a list and plan for your week.

Number eight.
Visit your favourite place!
Go to the beach, the Zoo, Museum or your favourite cafe, where ever you feel content and comfortable and truly happy.

Number nine.
Do something you love!
Whether that's singing, dancing, listening to your favourite song, talking to your loved ones, just do it!

Number ten.

Surround yourself with creative inspiring people and realise its okay to be unproductive sometimes!
